Kelp Mermaid

I just doodled a mermaid thing on some paper and then I coloured it in. In an ideal world she'd look a lot more unsettling, but I couldn't really get it to work :S 
The sketch is pretty different since i did it in biro (and bc I just drew it on top of a load of sketches I didn't like hah):

I wanted her to look camouflaged but i think I went too far since she's barely visible x) oh well, I mean this is just a speed paint if anything so I didn't want to spend too long on it
